Try the push-to-talk apps on the SD7

These services list the SD7 as supported. The SD7 has no front screen: the app runs on the handset and you work it with the PTT key, the channel knob and the SOS key. Pick one and try what it can do.

Tap the talk button on the screen for the next call, hold it to talk; the tabs switch the app's screens.

Siyata calls it a PTT-only device: an Android handset in a two-way radio shape with a PTT key, a channel knob and an SOS key that talks over LTE and Wi-Fi. It has no front screen and no keypad; a 0.97-inch OLED on top shows the status.

What is the difference between the Siyata SD7 and SD7 Ultra?

        The SD7 Ultra is a newer model with 5G, Android 14, a 20 MP body camera, a 1.14-inch colour status display, a 5,100 mAh battery and an eSIM. It weighs 291 g against the SD7's 190 g.

Does the Siyata SD7 work in Europe?

Siyata lists an EU version with LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 20 and 28 and TDD bands 38 to 41, which cover the main European networks. The US version has a different band set.

Which push-to-talk apps work on the Siyata SD7?

Zello lists it on its hardware page, TASSTA lists it as compatible on Android 9.0, and AT&T lists it for Enhanced Push-to-Talk and FirstNet Rapid Response. Siyata also names MCPTT support.

Is the Kenwood push-to-talk handset the same as the Siyata SD7?

Yes. In January 2025 JVCKENWOOD USA announced it would sell Siyata's SD7 under the Kenwood brand through its dealers in the US and Canada.

What accessories does the Siyata SD7 have?

Siyata shows a spare battery, a belt clip, a six-bay charger, a PTT headset, a surveillance earphone and a wired palm microphone for the SD7, and sells the VK7 vehicle kit separately.
