It started in the early 1990s, when I was a kid: my first computer, a ZX Spectrum, was bought in a radio shop.
As a teenager I learned to use a soldering iron. Step by step I went from homemade computers and telescopes to radios.
On poc-radio I write the guides and check them against manufacturers' data, standards and network operators. Where sources disagree, the page shows both values.
I also build Privox, a push-to-talk service for phones, rugged radios and a dispatcher console. On poc-radio it is one platform among the others, described by the same rules: facts with sources, no rankings, no special place.
