What is the difference between the Telox TE620, TE620G and TE620P?
Three names share one product line. The TE620G is the 4 GB and 64 GB version in the same 144 × 66 × 24.2 mm body as the TE620. The TE620P is a different device with its own shape.
| TE620 | TE620G | TE620P | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Android | 10 | 14 (telox.com) or 12 (datasheet) | 10 (TASSTA) |
| RAM and storage | 2 GB and 16 GB | 4 GB and 64 GB | — |
| Processor | Quad-core 1.3 GHz | Octa-core 2.0 GHz | — |
| SIM | 1 nano-SIM | 2 nano-SIM and microSD | — |
| Bluetooth | 4.2 | 5.0 | — |
| Size, mm | 144.0 × 66.0 × 24.2 | 144.0 × 66.0 × 24.2 | 153.2 × 75.8 × 14.8 (Alcadis) |
| Use | General PTT | General PTT, Google apps | MCPTT middleware (Telox news) |
- TE620 and TE620G. Telox shows both tables on one page and the same renders. The name plate on the right side reads TE620 even on the TE620G datasheet.
- TE620P. Alcadis sells it at a different size, and TASSTA lists it as a separate row. It is the model Telox names for MCPTT middleware.
My view: match the name on the quote to the table above. A quote for a "TE620" at the TE620G price is the 2 GB radio.
Which Android version and speaker does a Telox TE620G have?
The current product page lists Android 14 and a 3 W speaker. The April 2024 datasheet lists Android 12 and a 2 W speaker, and TASSTA and the shops follow the datasheet. Size, weight and the 5,000 mAh battery match in every source.
| Source | Android | Speaker |
|---|---|---|
| Telox product page (2026) | 14, Google services | 3 W front speaker |
| Telox datasheet (April 2024) | 12 | 2 W radio-grade speaker |
| TASSTA approved devices | 12 | — |
| MCPTT Store, Portofoonwinkel | 12 | — |
| Brentwood (UK) | — | 2 W |
- Shop copy. MCPTT Store lists 2 GB RAM and Bluetooth 4.2, Portofoonwinkel lists a 3.1-inch screen and a 4,000 mAh box line. These lines mix in TE620 data.
Buyer tip: ask the seller for the Android version, RAM and speaker rating in writing before an order for several units.
Will it work in your country?
The TE620G lists 17 LTE FDD and 5 LTE TDD bands, including the 800 MHz band 20 that most European networks use outside cities.
Try the push-to-talk apps on the TE620G
These services list the TE620G as supported. Mobile Tornado names the TE620G on its supported-device page. TASSTA lists the TE620G as an Android 12 smartphone and tests the PTT button, the emergency button and, on some models, the volume knob. Pick one and try what it can do.
The radio's keys work too: PTT plays the next call (hold it to talk), the knob or ▲▼ change the group, ◀▶ switch the app’s screens, the red key stops.

| Speaker | Front, under the screen: a grille with about four rows of small holes. |
| Battery lock | Back, upper part: a slide switch with a closed and an open lock icon. The 5,000 mAh battery sits under the ribbed cover below it. |
How big is it?
The TE620G next to other radios, to scale. Pick up to three to compare.
