WalkieFleet on the Inrico T320
The Inrico T320 is one of the radios WalkieFleet runs on. Here is its screen with the app: tap a feature or the radio's keys to see how a shift works with it.
The radio's keys work too: PTT plays the next call (hold it to talk), the knob or ▲▼ change the group, ◀▶ switch the app’s screens, the red key stops.
What is WalkieFleet?
WalkieFleet is push-to-talk software from Walkie Labs, LLC, a company established in 2014. It carries voice, video, messages and location between Android and iOS apps and a Windows dispatcher console. Walkie Labs sells licenses to partners, who rent the server as a hosted service, resell it or install it for the customer.12
The vendor lists group and individual voice calls, video PTT, a messenger, GPS tracking, emergency and man-down alerts, and over-the-air changes to device settings. The server records voice as MP3 and video as MKV, and a backup server takes over if the master fails.3 The newest release is 5.8.4.0, dated 13 July 2026.4 The pages we read do not say where Walkie Labs is registered.1
Which devices and apps does WalkieFleet run on?
WalkieFleet has an Android app and an iOS app. Android comes as two builds, one for radios with no or a small screen and one for touch-screen devices. The vendor's list of supported PoC devices names Telo, Hytera, Caltta, Estalky, Boxchip, Inrico, Talkpod and Sonim models.45
In our database, 34 of the 291 current radios name WalkieFleet in the maker's own listing: Telox 14, Estalky 12, Tidradio 5, and one each from Lisheng, UNIWA and Yanton.6 The Walkie Labs pages disagree on the minimum version:
| Page | Android | iOS |
|---|---|---|
| Home page | 4.0 or later | 10.2 or later |
| System requirements | 5.1 or later | not listed |
| Download page, touch-screen app 5.8.4 | 14 or later | not listed |
The download page gives no Android minimum for the screenless build.478 The server runs on Windows or Linux, and the dispatcher needs Windows 10 or higher.48
What can the dispatcher console do?
The PC Dispatch Console is a Windows application that controls several WalkieFleet networks. A dispatcher makes voice and video PTT calls, handles emergencies, builds dynamic groups, sends messages, tracks locations and geofences, and reprograms devices over the air. A separate web dispatcher also exists.910
- Tools: the guides cover custom consoles, group patches, call priorities, scan mode and telephone interconnect from a SIP PBX.11
- Web dispatcher: introduced in version 5.7.7; it needs an API license.10
- DMR: an AIS gateway links DMR Tier II and Tier I networks for voice, text, call alert and location. Guides cover Hytera, Caltta, Kirisun and Excera.1112
Where does WalkieFleet run, and where is the data?
Walkie Labs says it does not provide hosted services itself. The server software runs on Windows or Linux, on the customer's machine or a partner's, and one server can host up to 100 customers. Where the data sits therefore depends on who operates the server.24
One partner shows how this looks. PoC Me in France runs its main server on a dedicated machine in an IONOS data center in Europe and a second server on its own premises, with automatic failover for terminals.13 Walkie Labs publishes a traffic-encryption guide, and PoC Me states AES 256-bit.1114 We found no GDPR or ISO statement on the Walkie Labs pages.
What does WalkieFleet cost?
Walkie Labs publishes no price list: licenses go through partners, and buyers use a contact form. As of October 2026, the French partner PoC Me lists a hosted network at €4.50 to €9.00 per user per month excluding VAT, with lower renewal prices.151617
| PoC Me plan | First term, per user per month | Renewal |
|---|---|---|
| Lite, 1 year | €4.50 | €3.60 |
| Plus, 1 year | €4.75 | €3.80 |
| Full, 1 year | €9.00 | €7.20 |
| Full, 2 years | €7.50 | €6.00 |
| Full, 3 years | €6.00 | €4.80 |
On Full, a dispatcher costs €49 per month plus a €49 activation fee. Lite and Plus allow up to 10 talkgroups, 2 included, and an extra talkgroup costs €39.1814 PoC Me also rents terminals with data and sells licenses for on-premise use; its pages give no price for either.1316
For testing, Walkie Labs offers a free demo server you install yourself (5 users, 1 dispatcher, no expiry, restart every 3 days) and 10 days on its own demo server on request.19
What are the limits of WalkieFleet?
WalkieFleet has no public price list and no vendor-run cloud, so price, support and data location depend on the partner. We found no GDPR or ISO statement on the Walkie Labs pages. The PC console is built only for Windows, and the pages disagree on the minimum Android version.
- The newest touch-screen app (5.8.4) needs Android 14 or higher; version 5.8.3 needs Android 13.4
- The Walkie Labs footer reads © 2020 while the current release is from July 2026, so some pages may be out of date.74
- Prices here come from one reseller; other partners set their own.
