What is PeakPTT?

PeakPTT is a push-to-talk company in Valencia, California that sells its own LTE radios together with the service they run on. It has operated since 2018, describes itself as a PoC manufacturer and provider, and sells to business and government customers only. Radios arrive pre-programmed with the customer's talk groups.12

The radios work only with PeakPTT's own service, which comes in three software platforms: K2, the flagship, PeakLink for simple audio-first use, and Everest for public safety and lone-worker alerting.1 Phones can join the same talk groups through an app. Plans, dispatch and the apps are covered on the PeakPTT software page; this page is about the radios.
